Dr. hab. Adam Nadolny [Faculty of Architecture, PUT, Poznan]

 

 

Adam Nadolny is an architect and scholar whose career, spanning over two decades, has left a lasting mark on the urban landscape through his distinctive approach to spatial design and his commitment to creating research opportunities for young and talented architects. Since 2024, he has served as Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development and Professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Poznan University of Technology, where he also heads the Division of Urban Planning. He was a Visiting Professor at the German University of Technology in Oman and a Visiting Researcher at the Manchester School of Architecture in the UK.

A true advocate of collaboration, Adam Nadolny regularly works with experts and scholars from various fields, such as engineering, urban studies, and architectural history. This interdisciplinary approach enriches his work and research with multifaceted perspectives, resulting in holistic and culturally grounded projects.

In addition to his professional achievements as an urban planner, Adam Nadolny is a respected speaker and lecturer, sharing his knowledge at international conferences, workshops, and guest lectures at institutions such as the Manchester School of Architecture, Politecnico di Milano, Università di Cagliari, and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Since 2022, he has also been actively involved in the mentorship program at the School of Architecture, University of Maryland, USA.

Adam Nadolny’s professional and academic work reflects not only his expertise in urban planning and spatial development but also his deep belief in the potential of architecture to address global challenges. His experience includes conducting academic research as well as contributing to institutional and educational development at the university level, including leading research teams, initiating international collaborations, and participating in interdisciplinary research projects. Since 2023, he has taken part in the project “Women Architects in Film, 1945–2000. Spain and Latin America in the International Context” at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. From 2025, team member of the project “EDITUA – an innovative interactive incubator of socio-spatial change fostering green urban regeneration, employing AI in gain of the public democracy” at Poznan University of Technology.External Links:
