Dominika Pazder, University Prof. Faculty of Architecture, Poznan University of Technology e mail: dominika.pazder@put.poznan.pl Graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, receiving a Royal Institute of British Architects certificate. In 1996-2002 worked in several architectural offices in the city of Cracow. From 2003 started a didactic and research work at the Faculty of Architecture, Poznan University of Technology at the Institute of Architecture and Planning. Within 20 years of continuous teaching career, has experienced several scientific and didactic trips as visiting professor e.g. to Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Belarus. Took part in a number of Polish and international conferences e.g. in Istanbul, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, London, Prague, and several research projects – both European and domestic ones. Author of about 90 peer-reviewed publications, including 2 co-authored and 2 individual books. In the period 2012-2015 acted as the Vice Dean of Students Affairs. In the years 2010-2022 has worked as tutor and researcher at the Faculty of Spatial Management at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. From 2015 to the present time, is a member of the Board of the national association named Revitalization Forum - being active in educational and cultural undertakings about urban areas renewal. Took part and carried out a number of revival undertakings and educational projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Development, City of Poznan and Polish Society of Knowledge. In 2019, obtained the title of habilitated doctor in the engineering and technical sciences in the field of architecture and urban planning by the decision of the Faculty Council of the Cracow University of Technology. In 2020, received the Award of the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology for scientific achievements and the Award of the Minister of Development for a monograph in architecture and spatial planning and development entitled "Areas of creativity - creative syntax as a factor of reviving the city centers. Selected Issues". Since 2021, has been employed as a professor at the Poznan University of Technology. Associated with many Polish and international associations, including: The Society of Polish Urban Planners, the European Center for Science Education and Research, Member of Advisory Group of Centre for Urban Wellbeing, Birmingham University and Global Urban Development as a Senior Fellow and GUD Board Mamber. She is also Member of Editorial & Scientific Advisory Board and Reviewer Team at scientific platform of EUSER - European Center for Science Education and Research 2015-2018 and reviewer in numerous scientific journals - Polish and international ones e.g. Ques Journal of Social Science, Education and Research, Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports, Urban Planning, Cogitatio, Sage.
