We are among 34 Polish universities classified in the prestigious ranking. The awards gala was held during the 8th LUMEN Conference.

THE World University Rankings, created by Times Higher Education - the absolute leader in higher education analytics - is the most recognizable and prestigious international university ranking in the world. In the opinion of the university, THE applies criteria covering each of their missions: teaching, research, transfer of knowledge to the social environment and internationalization.

Compared to previous editions, there was an increase both in terms of the number of universities included and in terms of the positions taken by universities. On behalf of the rector of the Poznan University of Technology, the award was received by prof. Wojciech Sumelka, vice-rector for research.

The organizers of the LUMEN 2022 Conference were PCG Academia, Times Higher Education and the Polish Rectors Foundation. The honorary patronage over the conference was taken by the Minister of Education and Science. The conference was also under the patronage of the Chairman of KRASP, the Polish Accreditation Committee, the Information Processing Center - NRI, NASK and the LEWIATAN Confederation.

The media patronage of the conference was held by EUPRIO, the Academic Forum and the PROM Association.

LUMEN partners included Anthology, Microsoft, Elsevier, euroCRIS, LYRASIS, WEBCON, Wolters Kluwer and Inspera.
