IZABELA PIKLIKIEWICZ-CZARNECKA

Dr. Izabela Piklikiewicz-Czarnecka [Faculty of Architecture, PUT, Poznan]

 

 

Dr. Izabela Piklikiewicz-Czarnecka is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Poznań University of Technology. In 2021 she defended her doctoral thesis The role of creative supplementary space in office workplaces. She is a member of the Wielkopolska District Chamber of Architects, Poland which granted her construction licenses in the architectural specialty in 2022.

From 2013 to 2018, she worked in renowned Polish architectural offices in Warsaw, Katowice, Gliwice, and Poznań. She took part in Polish and international architectural competitions. She regularly expands the field of research and publishes its results at scientific conferences and in scientific journals.

Her research at the Poznań University of Technology focuses on the environment of creative work, its impact on the structure of buildings, urban planning, and the functioning of users.

Dr. Piklikiewicz-Czarnecka is affiliated with the international organization Global Urban Development (GUD) and is an active member of the EDIT Poznań team, participating in the Green Campus (PUT Rector’s Grant 2024) and EDITUA (International DUT Call 2023) projects.
